Smoking booths near National Assembly Station

Around National Assembly Station there are 6 smoking booths registered by Yeongdeungpo-gu (① to ⑥ on the map). In order of distance from the station exits, booths ① and ② are to the south, ③ and ④ in the middle, ⑤ to the west and ⑥ to the northeast. Check the map below for the closest one.

Korea Mechanical Engineering Center new building rooftop (user report)

Go up to the 11th floor of the Korea Mechanical Engineering Center new building, turn right opposite Changwoo Trading, then go up to the rooftop, and there is a smoking area (user report from July 2026, pending verification). You have to go through the inside of the building, so it is mainly used by office workers at the companies in the building.

Yeouido Station and in front of the Korea Exchange (user reports)

Three areas have also been confirmed on the Yeouido Station side. The Exit 3 area is visible as soon as you come out (it is also registered in Yeongdeungpo-gu public data as 'behind Yeouido Station Exit 3'), and the Exit 5 area is straight ahead after you come out (user report, pending verification). In front of the Korea Exchange there are two smoking booths side by side, an open area registered in Yeongdeungpo-gu public data.

During the cherry blossom season, the fireworks festival and other events

Yeouido Park and the Han River Park are non-smoking zones, so it is especially hard to find a place to smoke in the crowds during events. On those days, leaving the park toward the financial district and using the National Assembly Station booths (① to ⑥) or the booths in front of the Korea Exchange is practically the only option. On event days there are lines at the booths too, so allow plenty of time for the round trip.

Toward The Hyundai Seoul and IFC

There are no designated areas registered yet on the The Hyundai Seoul and IFC Mall side. Among the registered areas, the one behind Yeouido Station Exit 3 is relatively close. Yeouido is an area with many registered spots in Yeongdeungpo-gu (66), so searching from your current location on the map is another option.
