Public area (before departure / after arrival) — 7 in total

In the 3rd-floor departures hall, smoking areas are available near doors 2, 4 and 7. In the 1st-floor arrivals hall, smoking areas are set up near doors 1, 3, 4 and 6. They are arranged so that you can reach one within a 2–3 minute walk from any door.

Duty-free area (after departure) — 3rd floor, 4 in total

After passport control, use the smoking rooms near gates 235, 247, 254 and 264. The Terminal 2 duty-free area stretches a long way from east to west, so if your boarding gate is in the 250s or higher, the smoking rooms near gate 254 or 264 are closer.

Tips for late-night and early-morning departures

The smoking spots in the public area are outdoor spaces outside the terminal building, so you can use them at any time. For an early-morning flight, the simplest option is to smoke near the 3rd-floor doors (2, 4, 7) before checking in. After security screening, only the smoking rooms near gates 235, 247, 254 and 264 are available, so check your boarding gate number and choose the closest one in advance.

If you need to move to Terminal 1

If you came to the wrong terminal, you will move by the shuttle bus, and with the travel time (15–20 minutes according to the guidance) and waiting time, things can get tight. It is safer to smoke near the Terminal 2 doors before boarding the bus. For smoking locations at Terminal 1, see the Incheon Airport Terminal 1 guide.
